Having just completed an incredibly successful tour of North America (not to mention being honoured by a recent tribute album) Midnight Oil are preparing for the release of their first new studio album 'Capricornia.'
The band's new track, 'Golden Age' is the first song to be lifted from the forthcoming album, which will be released on the 25th of February.
'Golden Age' will made its public debut on Triple M at 8am on Monday morning, but on-line fans will be able to get a sneak preview of the track with the launch of the new Midnight Oil website http://www.midnightoil.tv. Roll along to be among the first to sample the latest offering from one of this nation's most enduring acts.
'Golden Age' finds Midnight Oil as fresh and inspired as they've been in a long time, reinvigorated by a good couple of years both as a band and as individuals outside of the group.
Their recent tour of the States garnered the Oils a number of rave reviews, impressing many US critics who may have thought the band's best years were behind them. The guys have planned to return to the US later this year to promote CAPRICORNIA following the excellent response of their last trip, before heading to Europe for a round of shows there.
