Midnight Oil Join Earthfest

Midnight Oil will join the line up for the ninth annual Earthfest in Boston on April 27. The celebrated event promotes environmental issues through music, a cause that obviously sits very easily with the Oils.

Midnight Oil are currently in the US on their second tour of the nation in the last six months. They will spend the first half of 2002 in North America and the second half in Europe, marking their first major Northern Hemisphere tour in more than a decade.

The band also recently appeared on the David Letterman Show in New York, and performed a blistering version of 'Golden Age'from their new album, a sure sign that the band are still considered a major player in US entertainment circles.
